2. Non-Refundable Situations
A refund will NOT be issued in the following circumstances:
Underage Usage
Any user found to be under 18 years of age will be permanently banned from the platform without a refund. Their account and associated IP address will be blocked immediately.
False or Misleading Profile Information
You are required to provide truthful and accurate information about yourself. Refunds will not be issued if your account is suspended or terminated due to the use of fake photos, incorrect personal details, misrepresented age, false location, fabricated religious background, or any other misleading information.
Offensive or Inappropriate Conduct
It is your responsibility to communicate with all members in a polite, respectful, and honourable manner. Accounts suspended due to offensive, inappropriate, or abusive messaging will not be eligible for a refund.
Unverified Identity Documents
You are responsible for submitting authentic identity proof, a valid email address, and a working phone number. If any of these are found to be false or unverifiable, your account will be permanently banned without a refund.
Multiple Accounts
Members found to be operating more than one account on the platform will be permanently banned without a refund.
Attempting to Move Conversations Off-Platform
Any member found attempting to share personal contact details within profiles or messages in order to bypass our platform communication system, before compatibility has been properly established, may be permanently banned without a refund.
Failure to Cancel Membership
It is your responsibility to cancel your paid membership when you no longer wish to use BrethrenSoulmate. Refunds will not be issued for billing periods that have already commenced because you forgot to cancel.
Lack of Responses from Other Members
A refund cannot be requested on the basis that other members have not responded to or contacted you. This may occur for various reasons including profile quality, personal preferences, or compatibility factors, none of which constitute grounds for a refund.
Violation of Terms and Conditions
All members, whether on a free or paid plan, are required to adhere to our Terms and Conditions. Any account banned due to a violation of those terms will not be entitled to a refund.
Suspicious or Fraudulent Activity
Any profile or account activity deemed suspicious, fraudulent, or contrary to the purpose of the platform will be terminated without a refund.
Inappropriate Content in Profile or Messages
Posting or sharing unholy, explicit, or inappropriate content in your profile or through conversations will result in a permanent ban without a refund.
3. Eligible Refund Requests
Refund requests may be considered only in the following circumstances:
- A technical error resulted in a duplicate payment being charged to your account.
- Your membership was charged incorrectly due to a platform error.
- You did not receive access to the paid features you subscribed to, and our support team was unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time.

4. How to Request a Refund

You may cancel your paid membership at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your membership benefits will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the unused portion of a billing cycle.
